Title: IPM & Turf Technician
Description:
The Turf Applicator is responsible for applying pesticides and fertilizers to turf and ornamental plant beds to control pests and maintain a beautiful landscape for our commercial customers. If you are a plant lover who enjoys working outdoors and problem-solving, Complete would be a great fit!
Responsibilities:
- Mix and prepare treatments to effectively control landscape pests with proper PPE per label.
- Apply pesticide treatments and fertilizers to ornamental beds and turf areas using both motorized and non-motorized equipment.
- Perform minor mechanical cleaning and fluid checking of pesticide equipment as necessary.
- Report completion of work and progress of assigned jobs back to the supervisor
- Accurately prepare service tickets and any and all other required paperwork to properly document applications of chemicals and current conditions observed.
- In conjunction with a supervisor, calibrate equipment to gauge the pounds or gallons per acre of product used with the spreader or sprayer.
- Communicate effectively with other coworkers to function as a team.
- Communicate with clients as needed and professionally communicate what treatments are being performed.
- Label and install signage as required throughout properties to denote what applications have been performed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Work is primarily performed outdoors during all seasons, including inclement weather (heat, rain, snow, etc.)

Responsibilities:
- Review, understand, and interpret project blueprints.
- Manage multiple large-scale commercial landscape projects simultaneously.
- Prioritize all work required and schedule accordingly.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors to ensure work is properly performed, properly invoiced, and completed on time.
- Determine/Order needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Communicate schedule and sequence of work to General Contractors.
